Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup M&M’s (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix Dough:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the cake mix and stir until well combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips and M&M’s, if using.
3. Shape Cookies:
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
4. Bake:
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set. The centers may look slightly soft but will firm up as they cool.
5. Cool & Serve:
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Enjoy!
